The box (inadvertently) suggests it is a combo Gold and Silver pens, but it's not, you have a box of Gold or a box of Silver and can order either or both. So you end up with 4 pens the one color, not 4 pens, 2 of each color. Upon delivery, I took out the pens and tried each one and they are all fresh. Four pens might be more than I need, on a forever basis, so hopefully they don't dry out too fast. It is a clean stroke of the pen. Now, one thing that was really helpful was in product photographs, the one that shows black background with both gold and silver as (over) samples. That was great. In fact, the gold looked so much brighter/sharper than my original plan was to go with Silver but I switched to Gold.It's real sharp for writingFIRST, THE ? PENS DO NOT SMEAR OR RUN. THEY ARE LIKE A ROLLERBALL OR FOUNTAIN PEN, AND CARE MUST BE TAKEN, IGNORE OTHER SIMPLISTIC REVIEWS. I WANTED THESE PENS FOR GOOD STATIONARY I HAVE THAT IS DARK GREEN AND DARKBROWN. I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE THINKING, DOES ANYONE STILL WRITE ANYMORE. WHEN SOMEONE HAS PURCHASED A NICE GIFT OR BIRTHDAY ? PRESENT FOR ME, OR IF A DOCTOR REALLY ASSISTS ME, I WAS ALWAYS TAUGHT TO WRITE A THANK YOU NOTE. AND, WE ALL KNOW HOW NICE A HOLIDAY CARD FEELS, AND SOME OF MINE ARE DARK, ESPECIALLY THE ENVELOPES. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SILVER AND GOLD INK PENS FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THESE WORK SO WELL. EVEN FOR GIFT GIVING AND WRITING ON THE INSIDE CARD A LITTLE MESSAGE AND/OR ON THE DARK ENVELOPE. A GREAT COMPANY AND FULL CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT, WITH A TOLL FREE PHONE NUMBER, ALL AT A GREAT PRICE.These write well and will work on my Christmas Cards as intended but there are no gold pens as indicated on the box. Only silver.Markers were dried out and the color was greenish, not gold.Good color but thought from the description it would work on plastic. The cup that says “Rachel” was completely dried for a few hours so I rubbed my finger to see if it would come off and it did. Changed color and easily is rubbing off. Disappointed will be returningDo not buy…2 put of 4 pens came dry and there is no return or replacement on this product!! If I could give no stars, I would.The ink is dull and the ink smears. I just do not like them.
