I purchased this for work. I’m in sales and this great for holding my business cards and taking up notes without taking up a lot of space. The product does cost a lot; however, it also oozes quality. I love the leather and zipper. The pockets are nice and slim and hold what I need them too.My main issues are related storage capacity and design of the product. First, the little a5 notebook they provide with the folio does not fit under the right flap of the folio. Bellroy mentioned it will fit an iPad mini, but it also would have been nice if it fit the bellroy note book they provide with the product. However, you can always put the notebook on top of the right pocket. The previous point brings me to my second contention about the right flap. I would have appreciated some sort of straps or holding system for the notebook in the folio. It would have been a nice touch, especially because the little notebook does not fit underneath the right flap. I feel like it jiggles around and whenever I open the folio, the little notebook is crooked because it is not held in place.I know these are small comments. To many these things won’t matter, and it really is overall a great folio if you want to splurge.I wanted a compact folio to keep 4 regular ink pens, a small credit card-size ruler, a standard a5 notebook, and maybe a kindle. Like many I have heard nothing but excellent things about Bellroy quality so it didn't take much convincing to splurge on this one. While delivering on quality with it supple leather, and that strong but buttery smooth zipper...it did not provide the versatility I expected (specially at this price)Loading all these items would make the folio bulky and difficult to close. Gone was that dream of a zipper, now getting stuck multiple times a due to the bulk while putting lots of stress on the seams. Doubtful this would be one of those long lasting leather items if I kept it up. I was a bit disappointed at this, a solution would be to compromise with a "slim" notebook, maybe 1 pen instead of 4, or leave the kindle at home. I am ok compromising at $20, but not at $200.While the folio would not be out of place in a art museum and I really wanted to love it, the minimalist approach hinders versatility to the point it fails as a tool. If you are carting nothing but a few business cards, 1 pen, a small notebook and want quality leather then this will work.If you want to do all that for half the price, get yourself a Galen leather folio.A bit over-priced if I’m honest, but my husband uses it daily and loves it.I bought this because I always have too many notebooks. The smaller size was preferable for travel, and this works well holding receipts. I like this folio because it is so expensive that I do not want to lose it. Hard cover notebooks take up a lot of space in the folio.I have enjoyed the utility of this item.I have several Bellroy products - wallets, passport holders and notebook holders. They are very well made, look great and have excellent space for my items.Perfect for my needs! Allows me to take notes, journal, store my phone, chargers and more. It goes everywhere w/me. This product exceeded my expectations!I like this product for it nicely laid out design. I can have everything I need for note keeping and having a small tablet on hand. I use it for brief meetings and conference calls. Some time ago I decided on a little system whereby I could carry my office with me in one bag. This work folio is a massive help.Quality is first class. The caramel leather is a lovely colour, and does not mark easily. The zip is strong and moves easily. A few people have commented on how well the little folio looks.Space is sufficient. I can fit a pen (sometimes two) two Moleskine Cahier (A5 size) notebooks, a kindle, my iPhone 6s, a spare power pack, another Moleskine Cahier pocket notebook, along with travel docs (I.e. passport and tickets) when necessary. The folio retains its shape well. The price is steep, and I was fortunate as mine was a gift but I have no doubt that, for those willing to fork out £160 they get a quality item with the potential to be useful for years. It's a lovely and very practical thing but I do have one negative - the zip is very thick and clunky. I imagine that this is because it will keep working for longer but I do think it detracts from the elegance of the whole and was tempted to dock a star because of it. It is also a very expensive item. Nonetheless, it's recommended - go out and treat yourselves!Seems like a fake of some form. Nothing really fits. This is a great product. Its well sized, holds my tablet in its case and has places to store a pen, business cards and a couple of cables / connectors for the tablet. The notebook is good and would have been better for having some plain and graph paper along side the lined that's provided. Its expensive but the specification justifies it.Beautifully made. Simple yet effective design.Used recently at a week long work conference. Kept everything together and minimized clutter.
