I ordered a different brand first. Hard to say why, something about its listing just convinced me it was higher quality. After putting it together I was kinda satisfied with it, I credited some of its weaker points as engineering challenges to make something light and cheaper to ship. This one changed that. It comes with legit chicken wire. Not sure what gauge, or what is even normal in that context, but its not welded squares with paper thin wire that break apart when looked at wrong. I like the door construction on this one better too, that it uses actual hinges instead of rotating on a pipe like assembly. It's also a couple inches larger. Super nit picky, but as a trade off its corners are curved instead of sharp corners so if you did a bunch of math on square footage I bet its a toss up.Now the single thing I will be hard on. I'm not sure what they had in mind with the "latches" they sent with my kit but they are entirely useless. They don't fit the gap in the door right and there's just no reasonable way to make them work. I ended up ordering some gate latches similar to what are on my prefab coops and some self tapping screws and went with those.I won't even let that detract a star though because I'm that happy with it overall. My other I'll likely have to recover with chicken wire before long. I think this one will last as assembled out of the box (other than hatches) for quite some time.I have no input on the tarp it came with, haven't put it on yet.The metal coop was shipped in great time and it was fairly easy putting up the frame. I could not rate it with 5 stars because they did not send enough chicken wire; however, they did send it out in great time as well. The plastic ties broke fairly easy. Also, we ended up 'sewing' the seams together with wire so there would be no gaps for animals to get in. There was a lot of sagging on top. But all in all, I would purchase again and hope they would improve on connecting the chicken wire, leaving no gaps, perhaps if we'd had the additional wire, we could have overlapped the seams better, I'm not sure. Thank you.The frame is easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough. It did not come with enough chicken wire, about half of what’s needed, and I had to buy more from hardware store. Maybe they sent wire roll for smaller pen. The zip ties to secure wire to frame are cheap plastic ones that break easy. They kept breaking off because the cheap plastic can’t handle the tension of holding wire. Got a 10 pack of metal zip ties from hardware store for $10, then found a 100 pack of them on Amazon for under $15. Those work great. The door latches fit over the poles fine, but do not have room to go over frame and wire and will have to cut bigger hole in wire on door for latch movement. The latches also keep popping out of the holes they’re mounted in. They’re not a single piece and no way to secure/screw the 2 pieces together. You’ll want to buy better latches. The frame construction and design is good, just be prepared to buy more wire, metal zip ties, and gate door latches and will cost about $150 more.HardWe bought this for our poultry. It comes in two boxes and they came on different days. Some of the poles were bent so we had to straighten them out before putting it together. For assembly you have to measure and cut the fence yourself(they do not give the measurements for the cuts). The zip ties they provide to tie the fencing down are very flimsy. So you may want to buy your own stronger ones. The door also pops off the hinges if your not careful when you open it so I am going to have to modify it so that stops happening. Paying almost $400 for something I would expect it to be a little more well made. This worked perfectly for our chickens. Easy to assemble and so far has held up great for weeks. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is we had to buy stronger ties for the actual wire because when the ones supplied were tightened they easily broke. We also don’t use the tarp on top anymore because it holds rain water and was causing the roof to bend a little.Easy to set up spacious for large birds. The wire is a bit flimsy and they send you zip ties to secure the wire to the frame. I'm used thoes untill I had straight wire to secure it. Other than thoes 2 things its a great buy.I honestly didn't feel like this was at all worth the money. It is very delicate, I have to completely replace the cheap "wire" mesh, it's smaller than the image shows, although the dimensions are the same, the images they offer are very misleading. I raise bantam chickens, so while they aren't Foghorn Leghorn and won't be getting out, this product can't even withstand my momma's fat little puppy, which means anything bigger than her most certainly can get in. That's no okay. I wanted to build a safe environment for my animals, this was a bad decision. I am currently having to save money to afford to build a fence AROUND this enclosure to assure my birds are safe. Zip ties are useless, we are going to use wire ties to reinforce the flimsy zip ties. The gap between the wall and the door is larger than ideal, and the latches are just difficult and rather useless. If you can afford it, go somewhere else. I regret spending the money.
